American Precision Museum preserves the heritage of the mechanical arts, celebrates the ingenuity of our mechanical forebears, and explores the effects of their work on our everyday lives.
The Problem
The museum required an updated look and a better way to present its information. The museum building is rich with history, and its collection features many historical and fascinating photographs. The website needed to convey that information effectively, serving as an invitation to visitors.
The Solution
4Web worked with American Precision Museum to refine their web strategy, ensuring their new site will serve their needs for years to come.
The museum had an older Joomla website, which was converted to the latest version of Joomla. The new Pagebreak feature in Joomla allowed for an interactive presentation of information using the slider option. We also created a custom Joomla template that provided for a clean and fresh look that reflected their own branding.
If you want to take a summer vacation in Vermont, be sure to make the American Precision Museum one of your stops and tell them 4Web sent you!
Client Testimonial
"We learned a lot through the process. Your team was very patient as we learned.....and it seemed we were always behind on content delivery. The new users manual you made for us has an attractive layout, and it is customized with imbedded screen shots from our site. We are looking forward to using it. We also appreciated access to the lynda.com training videos."
