When were first contacted by the assistant director she was extremely upset with their website and how it worked. They had reached out to the New England Museum Association (NEMA), where they asked for recommendations for website developers and found us! We worked with them to develop their web strategy. The strategy guided us through defining all the elements of their home page and navigation.
Their exhibitions are now categorized, upcoming events are clearly visible and images of galleries and artifacts are abundant. These enhancements are allowing the museum to reach outside their physical walls to encourage visitors and tours.
The ecommerce solution we provided allows them to categorize and sell gifts easily. Their new cart allows them to accommodate shoppers easily so anyone can purchase a reminder of their visit.
Ease of update was of the upmost importance to the museum staff. We create customized videos for our clients that illustrate how they update the various parts of their website. The videos are concise and helpful. The assistant director jumped right in and started adding content just a couple of days after launch and hasn’t stopped since.
